HOW DO YOU GROW YOUR CASH FLOW? Entrepreneurs share ways they keep the money flowing
“I think if you don’t have some sort of cash flow modelling tool — a spreadsheet or something — I really think you’re missing out. If you’re looking at this thing weekly, looking at the assumptions and really get into working these models ... I think it’s an important tool in order to really get a handle on when you might have an issue and be well out ahead of it.”
“The way we think of cash flow is the same way we approach our design with water. There are rainy seasons and dry seasons. Because we’re seasonal, we have our ‘rainy’ season all summer long … we know come winter, that’s our “dry” season and we always have to save and prepare (for that).” A N D R E W R E NAU X , d i re c t o r a t L eaf Ninjas, leafninjas.ca

How do you build the best team?
“I joined a group and I learned a lot. Whether you have a $100-million company or a $1-million company, the problems are all the same. One of the things I learned from that group was if you are too busy working inside your business you can’t grow your business. You have to take away time from your offices and businesses in order to grow them.”
“Cash flow modelling helps eliminate reactive spending. Long range planning helps reduce stress.”
“A great CFO is what @italianctrYYC attributes to best way to track cash flow”

“Takeaway for those who couldn’t make it to today: Cash Flow is King. Manage it well and bring in folks to help if you can’t.”
“‘If you’re too busy working in your business you can’t grow your business.’ Wise words from @italianctrYYC! ”
