Wild Harbour Fish Company Wild Harbour Fish Company is a family business and was established in 2011 by Saul and Abi Astrinsky, based in Hayle, West Cornwall. Saul has been a commercial hand line fisherman for over 25 years and we wanted to showcase how good sustainably caught fish can be. In 2011 we decided to work closely with a small group of fishermen and developed strict quality and freshness protocols in order to maintain the exceptional standard of these fish. We then went to work on marketing our fantastic fish and started out by selling to a few local restaurants. We are now selling to some of the best restaurants and hotels both locally and nationwide, including many with Michelin stars to their name. Our desire to ensure the local fleet was offered a fair price across the season for their fish was a deciding factor to launch Wild Harbour so we buck the trend and offer all our fishermen a ‘set price’ across the season. Saul finally sold his boat in March 2014 and after a (tearful!) goodbye we have been concentrating on making Wild Harbour even better. Now in 2017 we have many fishermen landing their fish direct to us and Wild Harbour is committed to paying them a fair price for their top-quality product. So not only do we have access to the best quality fish but our fishermen are receiving a better price across the year. Many of our fishermen are also members of the Southwest Handline Fishermen’s Association and the Responsible Fishing Scheme. 2017 has been an amazing year so far for us and with plans to create new product ranges which will allow chefs to customise and tailor products to their individual needs, we think 2018 is going to be even better.

Financial Manager
We also require a part time financial manager to work in-house, five mornings a week (although timings can be flexible) to provide book keeping and accounts related assistance to our growing company. Experience with Xero accounting package essential.
