Despite an incredibly tight rental market with record low vacancy rates, our leasing team managed to improve on their 2021-22 results in the 2022-23 financial year. In the previous financial year, we received 14,614 enquiries and leased 281 properties, which we deemed a fantastic result given the conditions. This financial year we received slightly fewer enquiries - 13,226 in totalyet still managed to lease 290 properties.

As the rental crisis across the country begins to show signs of easing, vacancy rates are still sitting at 60 per cent below pre-COVID levels in Perth, with increased migration from interstate and overseas driving this shortage.

We are still seeing huge numbers coming through our home opens and receiving multiple applications for many of our rental properties. There is high demand within every segment of the market, from student apartments to family homes in the suburbs and high-end executive residences.

Our leasing team keep in touch with unsuccessful applicants, which means our landlords rarely need to worry about lengthy periods of vacancy or searching for qualified tenants - but we need more properties on our books if we´re going to meet the growing demand. We have plenty of fantastic tenants ready and waiting to move in, so we´d love to hear from you if you own a suitable property.
