All travel costs, including mileage, ferry fares, airfare, hotel & rental car are covered by my clients. I work with flat fees & mileage fees to accommodate most travel to/from weddings. However, please inquire for more details and options.

I personally love shooting engagements so, much so that I include an adventure session with my all day package. Engagement sessions are a chance to for us to get to know each other, especially if you are shy in front of the camera... but guess what? You do not need to know what to do! I guide you through the whole session. My sessions are simply laid back, lots of walking, laughing, comfy cosy and romantic. I want to capture your love and friendship. It is all about the emotion.

So, lets create a cosy shoot by the fire, in the back of your ute or van, climb a mountain for that epic sunset shot, you name it we can do it! With every engagement session when booking a wedding, you receive a complimentary wedding Guest Book!

You are ready to book? Yayy! Firstly thank you so much in advance! After our meet and greet and talking all things wedding, we would then send you an electronic online booking proposal. This outlines ALL the info we would have spoken about, including a little contract, the invoice and all the other juicy goss on weddings with Elk and Fir.

The online system will automatically send out your time line, questionaires collecting all your wedding info, plus your love story and more. We will also schedule a Bridal Coaching coffee date at about 10 mths prior to your wedding date! I said I was your third wheel so this is where you can hit me up with any questions wedding related! Q— How do we go about enquiring further?

A — after you have reached out we shall organise a meet and greet over coffee or via Zoom! Thanks to Covid Zoom has kinda become the norm and as we are all such busy people Zoom is often the best way. I can accomodate to those that work long hours and have meetings after hours.

Q— Is the reservation fee refundable?

A — unfortunately no as this date will be locked in.

Q— How do you accept payment?

A— EFT, Ezipay, Paypal, how do you want to pay?

Q— What do we do if it’s raining at our engagment session or wedding day?

A—always plan for plan B, I will scope out before your wedding all the what if’s should the rain unleash on us! I have photographed soooo many rainy weddings and all I can say is that I will certainly guide you on this but the best thing to do is take it all in! Oh how creative we can be with photos, and lets face it. It is what it is, you can’t change it and I promise you will still get some kick ass photos. Should it be absolutely terrential? Then we will do a reshoot of your creatives (the photos usually after the wedding) for FREE.

Q— How many images can we expect from our wedding or engagement session?

A—I don’t limit this. Totally unlimited High RES!!! Colour and Black and White!

Q— Do you post everything online?

A — With you approval I will always post the night after your wedding. Then a select few during your first week. I know that you are super excited to see what we created, and let me assure you so am I.

Q— Do we need a second shooter?

A— I highly recommend a second shooter always. Some of my packages include this. There are so many angles that a single photog can capture on their own. The bride walking down the isle is a given. But imagine another photographer following from a distance behind the bride (or groom), and with a zoom lens focusing on your partners expression! If they are crying then we will capture that!

Q— Do your prices include tax?

A — Yes

Q— Does it cost to have you travel?

A— The Brisbane / Sunshine Coast area is free. All other areas yes however accommodation is FREE too in some areas! I like to stay with family and friends if ever given the chance! Win Win!

Q— What do you shoot with and are you insured?

A—I am totally insured for gear and PI. I shoot with Canon R5 (the best camera to date) and I also have a back up camera. I shoot with 2 cameras all day. An array of lens. I also carry extra gear for the what if’s.

Q— What is the deposit to book?

A—To book a booking proposal is sent out (electronic). Once this is signed and a $500 deposit is made then you are all booked in and ready to plan away with us! Q—

How early or late can we book?

A—We book out up to 18mths in advance so the quicker you can book the better. Book all your loved wedding vendors asap then you can sit back and relax, plan and budget in advance.

I have had weddings book 1 month before too! Hit me up as you never know, I may just be available, cancellations can happen!

Q— When should we organise our engagement session?

A—Two options, 12 mths prior to your wedding so you can use your gorgeous images for your Save The Date cards! But as long as it is done 2 mths prior leaving me enough time to order your Wedding Guest Book (comes with the All Day package).
