MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN Since PTG started operations in 2012 it has been a point of relevance for intermodal services, not only for our customers but also on its meaning for the Port community in Panama and for the growth of the country. Nowadays the Logistics Sector has a major dynamic in their requirements, this condition demands agile organizations capable of fine-tuning their service to that demand. For this reason PTG is committed in offering a worldwide class intermodal service, applying high quality and security standards in all business processes through state of the art technology and communications. In addition, PTG recognizes its talented task force integrated by employees and transport associates as their main value which represents our competitive advantage. Finally, here in PTG we are determined to become the leading company for intermodal services in Latin-America and for this we encourage our workforce to continue strengthening the culture of PTG based on “Reliability and Proactiveness� inspiring all to give the best of us every day and to respond quickly to changes that the business could face and to influence the Sector in Panama as an example of success contributing positively to the social and economic development of the country.

BUSINESS APPROACH PTG identified two core elements as business components: Customers and Services. Within this reference PTG innovates its business model while integrates a platform that transcends PTG’s service, contributing to transform the culture of cargo transport service companies and strengthening other members of port community, creating a trend in the industry to develop a real integration in the community to speed up the services and therefore contribute to their productivity and profitability.

Any technological investment in PTG is regulated by the premise of “added value�, which means that it is not by itself the final purpose, but a tool that can be decisive for competitiveness. Therefore, PTG adopts technological surveillance practices that allow us to identify trends and cutting-edge technologies in information and communication systems that can directly support the services provided, in any of its dimensions such as: security, mobility, consistency and information analysis to facilitate timely decision making.

KNOW HOW AND TALENT FOR SERVICE
PTG’s staff has many years of experience in the Logistics Sector with knowledge in different business areas setting them as key part of the chain by its high level of professionalism and commitment. A goal of the management leaders is to develop the full potential of the personnel and help them to extend their knowledge, promoting Organizational learning by sharing information as a strategic asset. Recently, as a tactical initiative, PTG is developing a Management System as a tool to support standard operations procedures for quality, security and business continuity based on International Standards as ISO, BASC, amongst others to reinforce best practices of excellence in services.

NETWORKING OF ASSOCIATES Currently PTG has a dedicated associate network, that are selected according to specific criteria of excellence in service and compliance of applicable regulations. Within PTG’s scope, a key priority is to mitigate risks in trucking cargo transportation, therefore, PTG maintains compliance practices such as keeping a continuous evaluation of their associates, as well as giving them consultancy to promote a cargo service culture for cargo transport companies not only to improve the security of the load but also the reliability of intermodal service in Panama.

PTG’s business vision considers fostering positive synergies in between the port community with the ultimate goal of supporting the transformation of the Logistics Sector by combining the best practices from different stakeholders. PTG share its knowledge and experience by coordinating intermodal service to build improvements in the management of requirements among the community.
