China help boosts Phl virus fight The Philippine government has expressed gratitude to China for sharing technical knowledge and for sending medical supplies to aid the country in its fight against COVID-19. “With countries working together to address this global health pandemic, we enjoin everyone to express their support and to do their part to help in winning the fight against the COVID-19 disease by adhering to all preventive measures given by the Department of Health and the guidelines set by the government under the enhanced community quarantine,” he added.
Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Martin Andanar on Sunday night thanked the Chinese government for sending a team of medical experts and two other officials who would share technical knowledge in dealing with the disease.
At the same time, the Chinese government also donated 300,000 surgical masks, 30,000 medical N95 masks, 5,000 medical protective suits, 5,000 medical face shields and 30 noninvasive ventilators in the country.
