120 STUDENTS QUALIFY AS GRADE 7 SCHOLARS OF PISAY CARAGA REGIONAL CAMPUS

Some 120 studentapplicants have qualified as the incoming Grade 7 scholars of the Philippine Science High School - Caraga Regional Campus or PISAY Caraga for the School Year 2022-2023.

The qualifiers were among the more than 1,000 students who took the entrance examination for the PISAY scholarship.

According to Engr. Ramil Sanchez, Caraga Campus Director, they allotted another section in addition to the three existing sections to accommodate the incoming scholars for this school year.

Also, during the Regional Recognition of Qualifiers and Partners, regional director Priscilla Sonido of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Caraga took the opportunity to greet and congratulate all the qualifiers, and encouraged them to persevere and work hard in their studies.

“All of you have worked hard to be included in this group out of the thousands of applicants. With that, I applaud all of you as well as your family who helped you in any means possible for you to be part of the Philippine Science High School family,” said Sonido. of the top qualifiers, expressed his gratitude to all the parents of the exam passers who have been very supportive, and lauded his peers for giving their best to become part of the new batch of PISAY scholars.

Engr. Sanchez also thanked all the partner stakeholders who continue to support the institution and help disseminate the programs of PISAY to different parts of the region. (JPG/PIACaraga)
