MinDA to assist 3 IP villages in Zambo Sibugay By Digna Banzon
DAVAO CITY The Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) said it has expanded assistance to three more Indigenous People (IP) barangays in Zamboanga Sibugay. In a statement on Friday, MinDA said the barangays of Pulidan, Kipit, and Tugop Muslim in the town of Titay will be the next recipients of the agency’s agricultural livelihood projects. MinDA Secretary Emmanuel Piñol said the decision came following the “Serbisyo Caravan” organized by Zamboanga Sibugay’s Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) on Friday, during which the three barangays were identified as among the province’s conflict-affected areas.
