Aside from the provision of farm equipment, Baguhin said DAR-Agusan del Norte also provided education He noted that despite the threats posed by the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), the provincial agrarian reform office did not cease to stop providing support to the ARBs and ARBOs in Agusan del Norte. “During the lockdowns, we joined the other DAR-assisted cooperatives in ensuring food supplies in the markets and to the local government units (LGUs),” Baguhin said. In April, he said the ABFMPC earned about PHP1.4 million through the delivery of 700 sacks of well-milled rice to the LGU of Cabadbaran City. Baguhin said during the lockdown, the ABFMPC also provided food support to its members and other families in the area. (PNA)
