RTWPB CARAGA CONDUCTS TRAINING ON BIZ CONTINUITY PLANNING

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) Caraga in coordination with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Caraga recently conducted a Training on Business Continuity Planning and Management, here.

The said activity was conducted in four batches, two sessions in the morning participated by 19 establishments and two sessions in the afternoon participated by 15 establishments aimed to give relevant ideas and inputs on how to drive businesses into more productive and bounce back as resilient industries during this New Normal.

Earl D. Dela Victoria, Board Secretary VI, discussed the productivity toolbox said that their agency provides different productivity programs and services to help establishments improve businesses and enhance workers to be more competitive, quality conscious and serviceoriented.

Also, the Business Continuity Planning and Management was discussed by Sara Mae Cassion-Dahuyla. She emphasized the objective and importance of Business Continuity Plan. “To help businesses mitigate disruption and unlock workforce productivity, Business Continuity Plan must be adopted and applied,” she said. Dahuyla also said that it is important to plan and prepare not only for events that will stop functions completely but for those that also have the potential to adversely impact services or functions.

During the event, participants were given time to fill up the intended forms in preparation for their individual/respective firms as their own Business Continuity Plan and are encouraged to avail of the other free programs and services of RTWPB. (RTWPB Caraga/PIA Caraga)
