MinDA Caraga joins Minda Tienda in Manila

The Department of Trade and Industry Surigao del Norte joined the send off ceremony of “MinDA Tienda Goes to Manila” on Oct 20, 2020 at the Lipata Port, this city. DTI Surigao del Norte Officer-in-Charge Elmer Natad joined with Mindanao Development Authority Chairperson and former Department of Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol during the send off ceremony. The MinDA Tienda aims to promote and market Mindanao’s products in big urban centers in the country and overseas as well. For the MinDA Tienda in Manila 2020, various products from Mindanao, including the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, were displayed and sold at the Kartilya ng Katipunan Park (beside Manila City Hall) Ermita, Manila from October 2325, 2020. Beyond just the staging of a MinDA Tienda, MinD, Chairperson Manny Piñol also discussed with the Local Government Unit of Manila the prospect of establishing an institutional relationship between MinDA and the City of Manila.
