Female youth in Caraga region join PMA entrance exam By Jennifer P. Gaitano
Leonila Alivay and Jenilyn Calit were among the female young applicants who joined this year’s Philippine Military Academy (PMA) entrance examination with the hope that they would be accepted in the PMA.

They have long been preparing for this event. However, they still worry about the possible result of the exam. “I’m hoping that all of us here could really take the exam. I’m confident I’ll pass this exam,” added Calit.
“I’m quite worried because many are taking the exam so there’s is a slim chance of making it to the PMA, however, I’m still hopeful we will pass the exam,” said Alivay. 8
Major Jullester Canada, OICPMA Proctors, revealed that there is an increase on the number of female applicants this year compared to last year.
