Short description By using agency instead of county, Minnesota’s tribes are included in the statute governing the Housing Supports program’s supplementary service rates.

Summary Tribes may negotiate the supplementary service rates and are now included in the costneutral housing support allocation option.

Implications The change may allow for providers serving tribal beneficiaries to negotiate and work directly with the tribe.
