GRATUTIES

What are the expected gratuities? Who do they go to?

When you order drinks for the bars or on deck, they will automatically charge a 15% gratuity on those tabs You are not expected to add more but you may if you feel the service is outstanding. If you order room service, you can pay a gratuity in cash at the time of service or you can ask for the charge slip, which will be zero since room service is free and add a tip there.

You will have a stateroom host, a dining room server, a dining room assistant server, dining room head server who all work for tips.

The suggested amount is $13.50 per guest, per night. The suggested gratuity amount will automatically be added to your stateroom charges You can increase or decrease this amount by visiting guest services. Many guests feel that they have received excellent, above and beyond service and choose to increase the gratuity amount.

Tips are most of the income the crew receives. On the last day of your cruise, coupons reflecting the gratuity amounts and envelopes to put them in will appear in your stateroom This is so that you can personally hand the envelope with gratuity coupon to the crew yourself. Disney prides itself on personal interaction and the crew thrives from being thanked for their service so you can take this opportunity to thank them personally.

Bring Thank You cards and write nice notes to your service team. They appreciate it!
