ACCOMMODATION: The 531 suites and villas include a host of larger family options, and whichever category you choose you’ll enjoy a private balcony or terrace, Jacuzzi bathtub or shower, Bottega Veneta bath amenities, air-conditioning, LCD flatscreen TV, WiFi, mini bar, Nespresso machine and in-room safe. Some suites have a Jacuzzi (or two!) on the balcony, while the Laguna Suites have direct access to a shared pool and the King Suites include a kitchenette, living room and sauna. The Albatross Villas, located near the golf course, each have a private heated outdoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath, offering two or three bedrooms, and the stunning four bedroom Owner Villa also has a shaded outdoor pavilion with Jacuzzi and a private gym.

RESTAURANTS & BARS: It’s unlikely you’ll have time to try everything on offer here, with eight à la carte restaurants, a buffet restaurant, fourteen bars, a patisserie, chocolatier, two snack bars and a dedicated children’s restaurant! There’s regular live entertainment on the outdoor stage at Azure Court, with three adjoining restaurants serving seafood, Italian and Turkish dishes respectively. A recent addition is Gastro by renowned Italian chef Alfredo Russo, a contemporary fine dining venue, while Azure Japon specialises in Japanese cuisine and Bueno Steak House is highly rated for its 28-dayaged prime cuts. The villas have their own dedicated restaurant at the golf course, and there is even a 24-hour à la carte restaurant in case you get the midnight munchies. Big name DJs regularly swing by the Temple Disco Bar, you can enjoy glamorous parties and spectacular shows at the Beach Bar and Tangerine Beach Club, and the Game In Bowling has arcade games and ten-pin bowling.

FACILITIES: Reserve an over-water pavilion at the beach, or make a splash in one of nine different pools, including indoor, outdoor, adults only and family-friendly options. The MaTextwell Spa sprawls over 3,000 square metres, with 24 treatment rooms, and the gym offers personal training and classes including yoga, Pilates, modern dance and crossfit. The Montgomerie MaText Royal golf centre is the jewel in the crown, with an 18-hole course designed by Colin Montgomerie, and there are also two FIFA-standard football pitches, tennis courts and academy, and watersports.
