EXPERT VIEW

- La Pointe is the best place in the resort for sundowners, right on the tip of the peninsula, with the lagoon on one side and the ocean on the other, and a live DJ playing chilled beats as the disappearing sun turns the sky pink - If you’re looking for a bit of extra privacy, we’d recommend the Ocean Rooms and

Suites as they’re set back in the gardens at the quieter end of the beach - The food at PRIME is simply stunning - it’s well worth taking the suggestions of the restaurant’s highly-trained waiters, although you really can’t go wrong with any of the delicious dishes here

RESTAURANTS & BARS: When it comes to food, be prepared for a real treat with five superb dining venues on offer. La Terrasse is the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner, offering a wide range of delicious local and international specialities. La Pointe, right by the pool, is a great option for a relaxed lunch, or try the resort’s newest addition, L’Artisan, serving fresh salads, sandwiches and sweet treats any time of the day. For a completely original fusion of Spanish tapas and exciting Pan-Asian flavours, there’s Tapasake, the breathtaking lagoon venue with over-water seating, perfect for a romantic dinner. However, our favourite is PRIME, a superb steakhouse serving the finest Australian beef, fresh seafood and local produce, accompanied by an impressive selection of wines. FACILITIES: The resort’s stunning infinity pool, fringed with canopied day beds and looking out over both beaches, is a beautiful spot to relax. Alternatively, head to the One&Only Spa, set in its own private gardens, where expert therapists will sooth away all your knots and stresses; there is also a second serene lap pool here. The KidsOnly club, for children 3-11 yrs, and OneTribe, for teens 12 yrs and over, are tucked away in a dedicated courtyard next to the fitness centre, tennis courts and football pitch, and offer light and modern spaces where children can have fun, make new friends and take part in a whole host of activities. There is also a third family pool, a mini golf course, table tennis, mountain bikes, Dive Centre and a wide variety of complimentary watersports including waterskiing, Hobie Cats, kayaks, snorkelling, windsurfing, paddleboarding, and glass bottom boat trips.
