LOCATION: On a 135-acre tropical island, accessed by air from Barbados to Union Island, followed by an eight-minute boat ride to the resort. ACCOMMODATION: There are 43 air-conditioned rooms, suites and villas. Palm View Rooms are located in the gardens, set back from the beach, and have a king size bed, mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, bathroom with a bath and separate shower, terrace and a garden view. The Beachfront Rooms and Superior Beachfront Rooms boast direct access to the beach. The larger Island Loft Rooms are raised up on stilts and have vaulted ceilings, whilst the spacious Sea Grape Suites have a large living area with sofa bed, and are housed in two-storey buildings close to the beach with two rooms on the ground floor and two on the first floor. The two-bedroom Southern Cross Villa is set up on a bluff and has a private infinity pool and stunning ocean views, whilst the recently refurbished three-bedroom Sea Feathers Villa is steps away from the beach with contemporary interiors and shady external areas. Both villas have the convenience of a golf cart to get around the resort RESTAURANTS & BARS: Royal Palm Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in an open-air pavilion overlooking the beach whilst the contemporary Sunset Restaurant and Bar is right on the sand and offers a lovely, informal setting for lunch and dinner.
FACILITIES: There are five glorious white-sand beaches to choose from, with excellent snorkelling just off shore. Other facilities include a library, TV/internet room, tennis court, a selection of non-motorised watersports, free form pool, fitness centre, bicycles and nature trails. The beachfront spa boasts a stunning beach deck for yoga and meditation and has two double treatment rooms as well as a beauty salon for manicures and pedicures.
