A MASTERCLASS IN UNDERSTATED LUXURY AND ONE OF THE BEST-LOVED HOTELS IN THE CARIBBEAN, THIS FAMILY OWNED 1940S MANSION HAS ATTRACTED GUESTS THROUGH ITS POWDER-PINK WALLS FOR DECADES DUE TO ITS IMPECCABLE SERVICE, CHARM AND STYLE. PLUS, THE AWARD-WINNING SEAFRONT CAMELOT RESTAURANT SERVES SOME OF THE FINEST FOOD ON THE ISLAND.

LOCATION: In Speightstown on the north west coast, 12 miles from Bridgetown and approximately 45 minutes from the airport. ACCOMMODATION: The 40 spacious and elegant suites meander through fabulous tropical gardens to the original Great House, the beachfront and restaurant. With their island-style rattan and fresh hand-printed linens in a palette of pinks and blues against brilliant white, they write the play-book for a classy Caribbean design aesthetic. All have an air-conditioned bedroom, separate sitting room, kitchenette, tea/coffee making facilities, a complimentary mini bar upon arrival (replenished on request), spacious balconies or terraces, and fantastically comfortable chaises. The Upper Circle Suites are set in the resort’s beautiful tropical gardens, Royal Circle Suites are nearer the beach and Ocean Front Suites are just steps away from the Caribbean Sea. The ultimate in luxury and privacy can be found in the two chic honeymoon suites, Camelot and Colleton, both situated in the original Great House; each has a four-poster bed and private terrace directly overlooking the sea. RESTAURANTS & BARS: Cobblers Cove is a foodie destination in its own right. The Camelot Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is set at the edge of the beach; the menu is dictated by what the hotel’s fisherman Barker catches that day. The shady veranda bar serves excellent cocktails, and complimentary afternoon tea is laid out daily on the drawing room terrace. FACILITIES: The beachfront swimming pool is surrounded by candy-stripe sunshades and luxurious sun loungers, where a steady stream of sorbets, fresh fruit and water are refreshed throughout the day. There’s a floodlit tennis court, gym, palm tree nursery and complimentary motorised and non-motorised watersports including waterskiing, paddleboarding, sailing and snorkelling. The Sea Moon Spa offers a range of treatments including massages, facials and manicures. Golf is available at the nearby Royal Westmoreland Golf Course. A range of excursions can be arranged, including Heritage tours and boat trips to swim with turtles. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: A small number of children under 12 yrs are accepted on an exceptional basis only. For guests staying on a Half Board or Full Board basis over Christmas and/or New Year, there are additional gala dinner supplements which are payable locally.
