One Bedroom Cottages have a separate living area whilst the Two Bedroom Villas boast a large openair living/dining area and a spacious sundeck with comfortable hammocks overlooking the beach. With a real emphasis on escaping the trappings of modern life, there are no TVs, phones or internet in the rooms. The thatched Beach Restaurant and Bar is the perfect place to enjoy cocktails and casual dining, with stunning ocean views and an expansive all day dining menu. The Beach Restaurant also hosts the unmissable weekly beach barbecue, with the mellow vibes of a steel band. If you prefer, you can have morning coffee, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner served in the privacy of your room or delivered to one of your favourite hammocks which are dotted around the island. The cuisine is exceptional here, and the gourmet chefs pride themselves on using the freshest locally-caught and grown ingredients wherever possible. There’s also a wine cellar with a choice of no less than 6,000 bottles of fine wines and spirits.
FACILITIES: These include a hillside spa with four open-air treatment rooms and a team of Balinese therapists. There’s also a yoga pavilion overlooking Conch Bay offering twice-weekly classes, tennis courts, jogging and hiking trails and a Fitness Trail providing an excellent workout along the beaches and woodland. Motorised boats for deep sea fishing, diving and touring are also available, as well as golf on nearby Canouan Island. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The hotel will be closed between 01 August–31 October.
