Your Insider is your business and party partner. Your job: to be an indispensable resource and coach, making sure she’s prepared and is set up to maximize her rewards. After all, HER success is YOUR success! Coaching your Insider is more than sharing - it’s about listening! Through back-and forth conversations, you can help your Insider plan a successful party.
Build your connection: Really get to know your Insider. Ask questions and listen for opportunities to connect: Her day-to-day journey, Her WHY for the party, Her product wish list, Her guest list. Set her up for success: Don’t assume your Insider knows how to hold a successful party. Your support and encouragement will mean everything to her. Use the Faceto-Face Insider Coaching Checklist or Online Insider Coaching Checklist to prep her for success. Plan to chat with her at least two to three times before the party, making sure to: 1. Explain her Insider Rewards: these are her incentives. The higher the party sales, the more rewards she receives and the more commission you make! 2. Describe each party type. Walk her through the benefits of Online, Face-to-Face and Catalog launch parties, and help her decide which works best. 3. Go through her guest list. Talk about who to invite and why. Encourage your Insider to invite them multiple ways – text, Facebook, a handwritten note, etc. – to increase her RSVP’s. 4. Walk her through the Insider Portal (i.e. Her Virtual Office). She can send invitations, create a guest list, check party orders and place her own order. Send her the link, found in your Virtual Office under the “Parties” tab. Make her feel special: This is your chance to give her a sense of what it’s like to belong to the Sisterhood. You may be one of the best parts of her week! Who knows, she may host again, refer others to you or even join your team! Continually ask, “What else can I do for you?” or “What questions do you have?” Thank your Insider and make it memorable. During the Pink Bag follow-up, send her a personal note. To get the most guests at her party, use a blended invitation approach. This means: Invite 40 people – Use the Insider Flier to help the Insider think of the people she knows. Identify 15 VIP guests – Who are the people that make it a party that she really wants there? Make a special invitation to them with a personal phone call or a mini Catalog. Send a reminder 3 days before the party – Every invited guest should receive a reminder about the party with the party link for online ordering. Quick texts can keep excitement for the party. Setup a Facebook Event – Setting up a Facebook event allows the chance to share product information and increase interest, regardless of party type. Create a Party Link in your Virtual Office so that anyone who can’t attend the party can still shop and place their order online!

When it comes to Vendor Events and Trade Shows, there is no one-size fits-all approach. When you’re talking with your party guests, ask open ended questions to help identify what products could best fit with her needs, plus share specific stories of how you use Thirty-One products in your daily life. PINK BAG CALLS Pink Bag Calls are one of the most important ways Thirty-One Gifts Consultants offer Pink Glove Service. They are easy, fun, and a great way to re-connect with your Insider and her guests after the party! The key to success is always in the follow up. It’s important to call or text every guest from the Face-to-Face party who gave you her number or participated in the FB party – even if she didn’t place an order. It can be challenging – but this important step shows how much you care about them and their satisfaction with their Thirty-One Gifts products. A little hint, the more often you make these calls, the less challenging it becomes! When you get her on the line, thank her for supporting her Insider and ask her how she’s loving and using her new Thirty-One Gifts products. Listen carefully to her responses – and be fast on your feet to help troubleshoot issues, if any. She may even want to get a few more products – this is a perfect segue into a booking conversation!

Why it’s important: Virtual Office is where you enter your party orders, set up party events, submit Customer returns, and check order and shipment status. Learning your way around your Virtual Office will help you manage your business! How to use it: The best way to learn is by doing! Visit ThirtyOneToday (TOT) and click on Learn > Business Basics > The Virtual Office. Here you will find key tasks with videos and useful tools that you can print out and keep near your computer for quick reference. Use social media to give customers a reason to do business with you. As well as the value you offer them, make the most of social media to establish yourself as a Thirty-One Consultant! Create a VIP Group for your Customers to join and post in about all things Thirty-One! Everything you post inside the group shares Thirty-One with them and keeps them in the know of the latest specials, products and how they can purchase what they love! Create excitement for them by posting inside the group often and having conversations with them about their needs. Have fun posting photos of products you use and love and encourage your customers to do the same! Your goal for social media is to provide your Customers with a simple, easy, and fun space to interact with each other. Building connections and relationships with your Customers is so important and social media is a great place to start!
Be sure to abide by all social media platforms terms and conditions put in place by Thirty-One. You are responsible to educate yourself on the terms and conditions prior to posting as each social media site can vary. Share all of the marketing material, including the current catalog, on TOT with your Customers and Insiders! Once clicked, you’ll be able to “share” the marketing piece on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, through email or simply just copy the link to the piece! Don’t forget to add your personal website address so your Customers know where to shop!

Directors and above in Thirty-One share tips! Welcome to Thirty-One! After 11 years, here are my tips to be successful! 1. Stay in your lane! There are so many ways to do your business--don't get distracted by what others are doing. 2. One step forward is the definition of success! Celebrate all the "ones" in your business! One more party, one more team member, one more sale, one more contact, etc. 3. Relationships are everything. People don't care what you know until they know that you care. May you find tremendous blessings in the sisterhood! Whatever you can do to feed that, nurture it and continue that will carry you through so many moments of your business. Be willing and committed to start your new consultant training and set aside time to be intentional with it. The first steps you take in the beginning will determine the course of your journey. Be mindful of setting small goals and having ways/people to hold you accountable. A lot of my success, I believe, is contributed to this mindset and setting goals early on to share the business with someone at least 1-2 times a day.
