Summer 2013 District 1 Meeting-Fellowship and Food for Thought -June 22

DWRC Members and friends met at the home of Barbara Fallon for the meeting of District 1, Denver Republican Women’s Club. Special guests included CFRW Treasurer, Karla Dimond, Dr. Debora Sheffel, State Board of Education and Dr. Mike Fallon. It was a perfectly beautiful day. Abundant food was supplied by DWRC members. Barbara Fallon, District 1 Representative offered her home. Dr. Mike Fallon spoke concerning the upcoming healthcare exchanges in Colorado. Dr. Debora Scheffel informed the attendees concerning the Common Core Curriculum and it’s effect on the Colorado education system and our children. All left energized to fight the good fight.
