Greetings, people of Whippany, Hanover and other New Jersey regions! It’s Carlo Palomino, the real estate investor in love with everything NJ. Today, let’s talk about some interesting facts about the most fascinating city in the entire U.S. Recently, Carlo Palomino shared Whippany and Hanover’s top hangouts. The research brought me across a lot of fascinating facts and details about the Garden City. Let’s begin the NJ fact list by Carlo Palomino!

#1 New Jersey has a state seashell and it’s the knobbed whelk. The predatory sea snail is best known for its delicious meat, which is served in almost all the popular restaurants in NJ (yes, in Hanover and Whippany too) as the Italian dish called ‘scungilli’. Carlo Palomino loves seafood and suggests that you should also try it at least once!

#2 Most of you must be unaware of the fact that the first Miss America pageant was held on the Atlantic City boardwalk in September of 1921. This shows that Carlo Palomino’s New Jersey has been a famous place from the very beginning! If you are planning your next vacation in NJ, do visit the historical Broadwalk!

#3 Did you know that New Jersey has its own volcano? Volcano experts believe that the Beemerville volcano went out about 440 million years ago. The real estate surrounding the volcano has become a hot commodity nowadays. People have built houses all the way up the slope, right to the summit. Talking about real estate, Hanover and Whippany counties are the hottest selling in the entire NJ right now.

#4 The Statue of Liberty is kind of in New Jersey and also kind of in New York. The land on which the statue stands is owned by the state of New York, but the waters surrounding the island belong to Jersey City. Now, that’s something people of the entire New Jersey must be proud of.

#5 Why is Carlo Palomino proud of New Jersey? History knows that NJ played a crucial role in the Revolutionary War. Far more battles were fought in New Jersey than in any other colony, and not to mention, General George Washington’s won the battles of Trenton and Princeton in NJ too!

#6 This is one of my personal favorites. There are more horses per square mile in NJ than any other state. New Jersey is also more populated than any other region in the entire U.S. Thanks to quality investment opportunities in Whippany and Hanover, investors like Carlo Palomino are doing good! Speaking of horses, do you know that horses don’t sit unless they have an injury in one of their legs?

#7 People of New Jersey are true foodies. Just like Carlo Palomino, they love dining out and exploring restaurants. This is especially true of Hanover and Whippany. Despite its small size, New Jersey has a big appetite. New Jersey is often called the “diner capital of the world”, thanks to the hundreds of classic diners that dot its roadways network.

#8 Were you familiar with the fact that New Jersey’s state fish is trout? Seafood is loved by the people of New Jersey. Since Carlo Palomino regularly visits Hanover and Whippany, there are ample opportunities to enjoy the local sea-food delicacies made from fresh fish.
