This house for vacation has a wonderful terrace with an open dinning area, fire pit, infinity pool and a jacuzzi, the glass is designed to open from side to side in order to connect the common interior areas to the terrace, at the upper levels it has an studio and 4 rooms with walking closets and bathrooms each one. Harnessing the views to the golf course and the pacific is the highlight of this house. The travertine and parota gives a fresh look to this home at the coast.
in a site of 72,500 sqm the commercial corridor and stores are 10,000 sqm. In collaboration with ARES the project was redefined in order to give comfort to the shopping customers at the square with natural views. The customer experience plays the main role, giving to them natural views and natural shading with vegetation or creative structures which are outstanding.
It took 6 weeks to design and build up the new offices, 80% of materials were reused adapting the hollows to the existing glass modules, the construction was in phases to keep a continuous operation.
The lighting design played a main role to bring a warmer atmosphere to the meeting rooms .
The furniture is Herman Miller, using a palette of grays and wood.
This underground parking in Santa Fe in a building of the group had several pedestrian circulation problems and dangerous crossings with vehicles and the stores at the core were not visible once the customers went out the supermarket.
Designing the ceilings, epoxic floors in neutrals, the use of vibrant colors at walls and columns and lighting we enhanced the environment to create a more playful and interactive transition for the customers and induce their circulation to the secondary shops at the center of the park area.
A new proposal for the unused common hall was required, in order to bring new life and invite; the design consisted in create flexible atmospheres. Divided by a wooden moving wall the area could be divided in case of an event. This spaces were a coworking area, a lounge which could transform into a cinema, staired seatings to watch the paddel games out of the hall. The furniture were selected in accordance to the different users in the area.
In order to adapt the house to the curved front line of the site, i divided the house in 3 solid volumes connected by bridges. Creating a transition between volumes anyone this house bring the people to an introverted atmosphere harnessing the contrast of light and shadows to mitigate the heat on one hand and on the other express emotions with the natural light.
This home is constructed around a tree at the center of the site, the same day my client born, his father seed this tree. As the years passed it has a big emotional bond. So the house was designed considering the existing trees. The idea is to creat focused views to the garden so these windows can frame different aspects of the environment instead bringing a wide view. The geometry allow different courts with different uses but mantaining the house surrounded by nature.
