About Bandung Bandung is the capital city of West Java Province, and the second largest city in Indonesia after Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. Known as Parijs van Java (Paris of Java) by the Dutch Colonial for its resemblance to Paris and European atmosphere back in colonial times. Bandung is a urban metropolitan city which has its own motto, “Bandung creative and smart city�, that already recognized by one of the list UNESCO Creative Cities Network. Bandung has a tropical highland rainforest monsoon climate. Due to its elevation, the climate in Bandung is cooler than most Indonesian cities and is classified as humid. Bandung is considered a major & significant cultural hub in Indonesia. Most people in bandung are Sundanese. Sundanese language is often spoken as the first language and is commonly used as informal language.

Located at the altitude of 768m and surrounded by the lush and beautiful Parahyangan mountains makes the climate mild and pleasant. About AIESEC Bandung AIESEC in Bandung was first established in 1989 at Padjadjaran University (Faculty of Economy). In 2010, AIESEC in Bandung was officially expanded to three universities, which are Padjadjaran University, Parahyangan University, and Bandung Institute of Technology. A year later, in 2011, AIESEC in Bandung engaged more universities, such as Telkom Foundation School (now known as Telkom University), Indonesia University of Education and Maranatha Christian University. Our 200 members are diverse from those 6 universities. We have delivered thousands of leadership experiences to thousands of youth in Bandung for 25 years. We are still creating more leaders, shape the world, and bring positive impact to society.

Socep Bandung- Entrepreneur Project • Participating in village observation and meeting with small-medium enterprises entrepreneur • preparing business canvas model and promotional plan for the small medium enterprises • Presenting the business canvas model and promotional plan to the village people • Organizing the Charity Social Entrepreneurship Workshop to introduce Social Entrepreneurship to the workshop participants • Interns have to prepare cultural stuffs from their country for global village and have to participate in AIESEC LC Bandung activities • Interns have to promote the small- medium enterprise physically or virtually

Malala Bandung Project – Equality Education • Motivate and inspire the kids to live life to the fullest • Make handicrafts with the kids (Indonesia’s and EPs’ home countries handicrafts) • Sing, dance, and play with the kids • Make charity event and do fundraising for unfortunate kids in Bandung • Build awareness to Bandung society about equality of education for unfortunate kids in Bandung. • Do present EPs’ home country in Global Village

Sampurasun Bandung – Culture Project • Participating in traditional performance training such as merak dance and Gamelan orchestra • Presenting local Sundanese handcrafts and products to Bandung society • Presenting the traditional performances to Bandung society in an special event • Organizing the cultural workshop to introduce and showcasing arts, performance and culture from your country to the workshop participants • Interns have to prepare cultural stuffs from their country for global village and have to participate in AIESEC LC Bandung activities • Interns have to promote Sundanese traditional culture to Bandung society especially the youth generations

Igreen Bandung – Environment Project • visit several local communities and schools to observe and raise the awareness on waste management • Giving theoretical and practical education to local community in rural areas on hydroponic through workshop and green campaign action to reduce plastic use with NGO. • Creating vertical garden from trash and any other recycle activities with students and local people • Observe local community or village, finding out problems regarding environment issues and try to come out with possible solution • Prepare related properties from their country for Global Village and participate in AIESEC LC Bandung
