Hey AIESEC All Over the world! This is the time to see how the AIESEC network makes its power stronger in order to connect people to create huge Impact! I truly believe this year is going to be the breakthrough year for your EP´s and Barranquilla, and I want to participate in this epic evolution your country is about to come! Supporting this project will totally change my city’s reality and will contribute with its development and progress. Now, having more than 100 EPs participating of this project will really make it more powerful and I’m totally sure it’s going to be successful by the end of this summer achieving the goals the project has and changing more than 100 lives. Your exchange participants will get to know my city, Barranquilla, and the cities around like Cartagena and Santa Marta.. All that involves Latin American and Colombian Culture, its diversity, kind people, beautiful landscapes, dancing, food, holydays.. as we say: Colombia, the only risk is wanting to stay! My LC and I will be waiting for your EPs with our hearts opened and ready to make this experience for them truly life-changing!

1) ABOUT BARRANQUILLA
The main capital of the Caribbean Coast has become the door of joy, color and open arms. Since the late nineteenth century wascharacterized by being the country’s main port where travelers came and went so Barranquilla became to be known as the Golden Gate of COLOMBIA. An incredible architectural beauty, surrounded by beautiful natural land escapes, streets gilded by the sun and sand, spontaneity and joy of the people of the Caribbean, made from Barranquilla ideal destination to enjoy the tranquility of its beautiful beaches and wealth cultural, which opens the way for Colombia’s biggest party: THA CARNIVALS!
What place can you visit? Caribbean Museum: It´s the first museum in the country with regional structure and innovative exhibitions. Its central theme is the Colombian Caribbean in its environmental, historical and cultural. The Museum offers a space to strengthen the identity and the reconstruction of a regional imaginary. It presents the cultural, historical memory of its people and encourages reflection about the environment, territory and the importance of the latter in the development of the region. Bocas de Ceniza: It´ s the point of Magdalena River in the Caribbean Sea. A small tourist train takes you along a stone path between the sea and the river to the end point where the river ends. It´s a magical place by the mixture of colors in the water and especially to admire the wonders of nature. Also, you can stay for lunch in Las Flores neighborhood and test house specialty: fish! while you relax watching the river and feeling the wind. 3) ABOUT GLOBAL CITIZEN
Global Citizen is Colombia’s national brand to delivery massive and successful projects that will change many lives around the world. AIESEC in Colombia works with different ways to impact our society and our main goal is to change your live through our project. The concept of Global Citzen is to form better people more conscious of world’s problems and to give a different perspective of how we can be change agents in our day by day. In order to achieve this purpose, Global Citizen has three different projects: •APRENDO •WE SPEAK •EMBAJADOR GLOBAL •HUELLAS EN ACCIÓN
APRENDO In this project… You will facilitate workshops for primary school students (3º to 5º grade) and secondary school students (6º to 8º grade and 9º to 11º grade) in public/private schools using Spanish or English. • You develop 2 topics that the school chooses in four weeks. Each topic will be developed in 2 classes per week for 2 weeks per course group. • The themes of the workshops are: cultural Diversity, effective communication, creativity, arts, dynamics, and exploration. • You will be responsible to plan and develop each workshop you deliver. The LC will provide supporting materials via Book-
lets, online presentations or trainings with Externals, LC members or Alumni. • AIESEC will provide housing and the TN Taker will provide food and/or transportation. 5.CORPORATE IDENTITY Trainee will… Design an action plan for 6 weeks. Focus on Organization positioning analysis, Organizational philosophy (Mission, Vision, Values), Logo, logotype, slogan and brand design.The trainee is free to use any type of methodology, however according to the project manager trainee should achieve the success factores.
