The city recognizes the value of a strong arts and culture community as an integral part of daily life, economic vitality of the city, and a contributor to the quality of life that makes Carlsbad wonderfully unique. Codified in 2018, the Arts & Culture Master Plan provides a roadmap for the Cultural Arts Office to create connections among artists, local arts and cultural organizations, community groups, businesses, visitors and residents that sustain and promote a thriving, diverse and creative city.
