Our Story
Our mission is to provide you with inspiration, silhouettes, fabrics, and design options that enable you to design your own clothing that fits your body and your style! In the summer of 2013, we started with our first collection of silhouettes, each of which could be purchased “as is”, or further customized to meet the demand of our market. The more we made, the faster we came up with ideas. Our exclusive PanelFit© Technology focuses on a flattering fit panel, which we incorporated into leggings, pants, and skirts. The concept has taken off—our fit models became some of our first repeat customers.
“Our Ah Ha Moment!”
Product Development, fabric sourcing, trend analysis, patternmaking, fitting and sewing—none of this is new to our design team, as we have been designing and manufacturing our two wholesale sleepwear brands (Carlton Hall and Amanda Rich) since the early 1990’s right here in Houston, Texas. Our “Ah Ha! Moment” came when we realized that we have been customizing our wholesale products for the last 20+ years. We can do this for everyday clothing, not just sleepwear! We launched our retail venture with a passion and a belief that there was a spot for MyDesign in every woman’s closet.
We Bring the Design Studio to You and Vice Versa
We offer this fashion design experience through personal appointments, trunk shows, and events where you may try on samples and enjoy an afternoon or evening out with friends.
