MITCHELL: In loving memory of Rae, who passed away March 31, 1978. What Makes A Dad? God took the strength of a mountain, The majesty of a tree, The warmth of a summer sun, The calm of a quiet sea, The generous soul of nature, The comforting arm of night, The wisdom of the ages, The power of the eagle’s flight, The joy of a morning in spring, The faith of a mustard seed, The patience of eternity, The depth of a family need, Then God combined these qualities, When there was nothing more to add, He knew His masterpiece was complete, And so, He called it “DAD!” Always loved, always remembered by Kevin & June and family and Karen & Dennis and family 45-1
We would like to thank everyone for the cards, messages, flowers, food, and kind words following the sudden passing of our Dad and Grandpa, Jeff Fenrick. A special thank you to Halls Funeral Service for their professional and helpful attention, Rev. Michelle Moore for officiating; Mickey Adams for delivering the eulogy and managing to make us all smile at a difficult time; Lorrissa Stigings for planning the lunch and all of her helpers; our Mom for the reading of a touching poem; Mom, Vicki, Jim, and Colin for setting up chairs and moving snow; Dad’s employer South East Electric for providing us lunch and the help at the cemetery. To anyone we may have forgotten to list, please know your actions are appreciated. Thank you to everyone who attended Dad’s service from near and far, new and old friends of Dad’s and ours. Dad touched the lives of many over the years and it meant a lot to us to see so many familiar faces and listen to your stories about a man that is very special to us all.
