“As a mother of four I know children are up for playing pretend anytime, anywhere. Discovering the world around them is a natural way to satisfy their curious personalities. My concept in photographing a child is to simply sit back and enjoy their enthusiasm about life. Allowing them to be themselves is essential; being ready to join them in play assures me the privilege of earning their trust, and just like that...enjoying a front seat to a fantastic photo shoot. No sweat! At the end of the day, these moments of unscripted spontaneity become the very memories that -when recoded in a photograph- we all enjoy revisiting.”
