Swimmers learn advanced skill strokes such as breast stroke, elementary backstroke and flip-turns Basic diving, retrieval of underwater objects, treading water, endurance and water safety is taught

Swimmers refine advanced strokes such as breast stroke, butterfly, and learn flip-turns. Endurance is focused on stroked and treading water. Advanced water safety is taught.

A volunteer-based program for youth who want to join the world of competitive swimming Dolphins compete in the DuPage Swim & Dive Conference along with 12 other park district teams. Competition is from midMay through July.

Swim meets are on Wednesday nights and Saturdays Swimmers will not be allowed to compete until they can swim at least 25 yards without stopping Each family is assessed a $100 volunteer deposit upon registration Volunteer deposits are refunded at the end of the season based on fulfillment of volunteer requirements

Payment plan available with volunteer deposit due at the time of registration and payments split evenly as follows: May 1, June 1, and July 1

No practice May 28, May 30, June 4 and July 4
