Who We Are

The Carol Stream Parks Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing additional financial support for public parks and recreation programs of the Carol Stream Park District. It is managed by a board of directors who live or work locally and are passionate about providing a strong financial foundation for parks and recreation in the community.

Planning a party, reunion, picnic or wedding? Reserve a picnic shelter in one of our parks for a great outdoor outing anytime from April through October. Reservations can be made beginning February first for that calendar year. Call (630) 784-6100 for more information.

What We Do

We build and strengthen the financial resources of the district by receiving gifts, grants, bequests and endowments on the district’s behalf. Contributions from individuals and businesses are used to improve or add to existing park projects or programs, or to fund future projects.

How You Can Help

When you make a gift to Carol Stream Parks Foundation, you are giving a lasting gift to your community. It’s a wonderful way to help improve the parks and programs you know and love, and ensure they will be there for generations to come.

The Carol Stream Park District continually strives to reduce such risks and insists that all participants follow safety rules and instructions that are designed to protect the participants’ safety. However, participants and parents/guardians of minors registering for the above listed programs/activities must recognize that there is an inherent risk of injury when choosing to participate in recreational activities/programs. I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury to participants in these programs, and I voluntarily agree to assume the full risk of any and all injuries, damages or loss, regardless of severity, that my minor child/ward or I may sustain as a result of said participation. I further agree to waive and relinquish all claims I or my minor child/ ward may have (or accrue to me or my child/ward) as a result of participating in these programs against the Carol Stream Park District, including its officials, agents, volunteers and employees. I have read and fully understand the above important information, warning of risk, assumption of risk and waiver and release of all claims.
