Broccoli casserole. I do not really have favourite food, but I love this. To cook it for four people, you need: 600 g

broccoli, cut into florets salt and pepper

4 tbsp.

flour

300 ml

milk

300 ml

vegetable stock nutmeg, freshly grated

100 g

cheese (gouda)

Working time approx. 20 minutes Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes Total time approx. 1 hour Wash the broccoli. Boil the broccoli florets in salted water for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, stir the flour into some of the milk until smooth. Bring the rest of the milk and the vegetable stock to the boil in a saucepan. Pour in the flour, stirring constantly, and continue to cook until you have a creamy sauce. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Allow the sauce to cool slightly, grate the cheese and stir it in. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Lift the broccoli florets out of the water, drain and place in a greased baking dish. Pour the sauce over them. Bake the casserole in the oven on the middle shelf for about 30 minutes. It tastes well with noodles or mashed potatoes.

Mamalâga 1.You need 1l of water 350g corn 1 teaspoon grated salt 2.

Boil the water together with the salt,

preferably in a cast iron pot or a thickwalled bowl. When the water boils, start pouring the corn in the rain, stirring constantly with a pear-shaped wire. This way you make sure that the cornstarch will not make lumps when it gets into the hot water. When you feel that the corn is starting to swell and the polenta is thickening, turn the heat to low. Give up the metal target and continue to mix with a wooden spoon from time to time. Let it boil for about 10-15 minutes depending on how "hot" you want it to come out. You will feel it in your hand. If it still seems too soft, leave it for a few more minutes. When it is ready, before turning it over, press well with the back of the spoon so that the polenta takes on a nice round shape in the pot in which you boiled it. Insist on the edges. Turn the polenta upside down with a quick motion on a thick wooden bottom or on a flat plate. If the bottom of the pot is dry, covered only with a thin layer of cornstarch, it means that you have made a polenta like a book.

The talking carrot Once a carrot was planted in a wonderful garden, the owner of the garden took very good care of the things he planted: He gave them the necessary amount of water and everything else. The day they took the carrot out of the orchard, it was quite fine from the top, it was like a normal carrot, but from the bottom it was bitten and seemed battered, to which the owner said: Because my carrot is like this with how well they have tried. But suddenly the carrot began to speak to him and said: There are some evil moles that are eating the vegetables from below, please help us. The owner, who was scared and confused, checked to see if what the carrot told him was true, he took out other vegetables, and they were also bitten on the bottom, but on the top they were in perfect condition. In the end, the owner took out the moles and when it came time to take out the new vegetables, they were already in perfect condition from top to bottom.
