DEIRDRE SCANLON NEW YORK, NY

Deirdre Scanlon began her professional training at The School of American Ballet. She has performed with New York City Ballet, the New York Choreographic Institute as well as The School of American Ballet Workshop. She joined Carolina Ballet in 2018 and was promoted to Soloist in 2022.

BILAL SHAKUR SMITH BALTIMORE, MD

Bilal Smith began his training at age 14 after being accepted into the Baltimore School for the Arts. He has also trained on full scholarship with Houston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and Nashville Ballet. McKENZIE VAN OSS GREEN BAY, WI

McKenzie Van Oss began her ballet training at the Green Bay School of Dance at age 3. McKenzie continued her training at Walnut Hill School for the Arts before joining the Carolina Ballet in 2014. She was promoted in Soloist in 2021. Pointe Shoe Sponsors: LaVerne and Bob Wells

LAUREN WOLFRAM NEW YORK, NY

Lauren Wolfram trained at Ballet Academy East (BAE) under the direction of Darla Hoover. In 2014, she was awarded a full scholarship to attend the Boston Ballet School Trainee Program. She joined Carolina Ballet in 2017 and was promoted to Soloist in 2020. Pointe Shoe Sponsors:
