All the little lights shinning in the dark, showing us the way, tracing a path to take... A bright light comes to one spot, highlighting dresses that start to show, floating in the air like there’s nobody else. . .

inspired by the 50’s boutique concept and its transformation from little hidden treasures to unique and spectacular places filled with architectural moments. A ‘soft intervention’ that brings new life to the space by introducing different layers of lighting (floor, nave, balcony) to highlight the pieces on display (acrylic boxes, floating dresses, hanging fabrics), bringing the attention back to LaFarge which is the ultimate goal of this project : creating multiple experiences through the play of light and color.

Keeping existing spatial relations and creating new paths: from the green entrance to a festival of lights, patterns and reflections, enhancing displays and framing the art.

The Palads in Copenhagen,

Denmark, is an adaptive reuse project that was part of an Interior Architecture summer program at the Danish Institute of study abroad (DIS). Inspired in Danish culture, architecture and climate, the purpose was to bring more light in, to generate connections interior-exterior and bring local materials like wood, resulting in a playful setting of spaces full of light, textures and patterns.

Creating new spaces, and repurposing the old, giving new life and new sensations

Metropolis Hybrids, is an

adaptive reuse of a County Jail into an Art+Tech core for Cambridge, Boston, created as a response to the community and the environment. From museum spaces moving up through ramps and stairs, from inside-out and outside-in, creating a sequence of spaces with stops or breaks to enjoy new perspectives. The ramp system in the middle space will take visitors and artists to the Green Roof or “Sculpture garden” partially roofed by a glazed structure that will also allow for better air circulation.
