I'm a first year undergraduate who created this booklet for an English class at the University of Washington. My research was on the relationship between circadian rhythms and aging. However, in reading more about how the aging population and the incidence of neurodegenerative disorders are increasing in the US and worldwide, I shifted my focus to the ways circadian rhythms are being studied to lessen the bad effects of aging because it's not about living to a hundred—it's more about living well at a hundred. In the booklet, I talk about the certain lifestyle factors, as well as growing research on chronotherapy and geroprotectors.
