How to Remove Mold from your Restroom

Method A - Borax 1. Mix one cup of borax with one gallon of water.

2. Vacuum up any mold spores with a HEPA filtered vacuum before you clean.

3. With a brush, attack the moldy surface with the borax solution.

4. Be vigilant about the cleaning solution and/or mold spores traveling to different areas while you clean.

5. Wipe up the borax solution and let dry.

Method B - Ammonia 1. Never mix ammonia and bleach together.

2. Be sure to use only "clear ammonia."

3. Put the ammonia into a spray bottle and spray the ammonia onto the moldy surface.

4. Scrub the area thoroughly with a brush to ensure complete removal of any mold or spores.

5. Wipe away after a few hours.

Method C - Hydrogen Peroxide 1. Place 3% hydrogen peroxide in a dark spray bottle.

2. Perform a spot test on the surface where the mold is on.

3. Spray the moldy surface completely and let stand for 10 to 20 minutes while the peroxide attacks the mold.

4. Leave for an hour or two.

5. Wipe the surface clean.
