Grants of up to $4,000 for small to medium businesses The Employment Start Up for Business program is providing $7.5 million funding to businesses employing up to 200 employees, to help provide unemployed young people with work. The program aims to offer a direct response to Victorian businesses that are experiencing difficulty in filling job vacancies. The ‘young people’ need to be between 15 and 25 and your business must be willing to organize and pay for appropriate accredited training for the new employee. The program is designed to ensure each young person receives accredited training and develops valuable skills that will help the business. Each eligible business will be able to apply for a grant of up to $4,000.
