MISSION STATEMENT The Nest, under the guidance of the University Health Promotion Department, will be a centrally located hub of consolidated campus resources pertaining to the dimensions of Wellness and various prevention efforts on campus. The Nest
place that promotes healthy choices, supplies resources, upholds social justice and that is driven by theory and evidence based practices.

DESIGN CONCEPT Students will take advantage of the programs and services only if they enjoy being in the space. The principles of wellness and the activities that take place within inform the physical quality and aesthetic charismsa of the space. In order for the Nest to thrive, the design must reflect and encourage the mission. Through materiality, furniture, layout, and detailing, the space will evoke a positive, inclusive, and stress-free atmosphere.
