COMERCIAL BUILDING

The process of criation of this proposition began with the pixel, that is the smallest point of an digital image. The word pixel is the union of two words picture and element, which would represent the element of an image.Every pixel contains 3 points(red, blue and green) that combined can generate 256 different shades. So as a starting point, the pixel became the unit, the smallest point for the development of the project. The process began with the union of many squares, same dimension, making a big massive block , like a 2d representation. Then, a process of deconstruction , removing unit by unit, provided a game volume and the idea of tridimensionality.

NEW URBAN PROPOSAL FOR SETOR COMERCIAL SUL This urban projetc consists in a new proposal for a comercial area in the center of the city of BrasĂlia, Brazil. The goal was to reformulate the idea of public places and also de configuration of the comercial buildings.

Picture: old and new configuration

Images of High Line Park- NY

As reference, it was taken some ideas from High Line Park – NY, such as the combination between floor and gardens, and also the big wood stair that combines multiples funcionalities.

This picture(left) shows a detail of how pagination and part of the landscaping was taken.

URBAN INTERVENTION IN AGUAS CLARAS, BRAZIL

The aim of the project is an urban intervention in the downtown area of Águas Claras,Brasília - Brazil . The history of Águas Claras has constituted gradually based mainly on the development of residential buildings in height , densely populated , with small local areas in Earthen trades . However , this disadvantage the urban planning context , ie , leisure and socializing remain scarce . Thus , the project revolves around the best qualification of public spaces , both in developing an attractive trade as entertainment . We utilize the area of the route from the metro which was without proper disposal , becoming a degraded environment . Leave the premises creating a large platform that connects two stations ( Araucaria and Clearwater ) subway , providing greater pedestrian permeability for connecting two neighborhoods , South and North . The program also has a landscaped area near the Águas Claras Station .

The platform has an arrangement of blocks that form small squares and provide permeability and pleasantness for pedestrians , allowing free movement . Sought to option footage to small and medium trades, ranging from 90 to 700m ² . To bring the idea of walking the boardwalk resize existing sidewalks and add the route for cycling. The goal is to bring a new language for the local urban paradigm , generating attractive as a differentiated and playful paging .

THE DIVING PLATFORM

Work done in groups to create a platform for diving in wood. The goal was to create a game between battens with nuances of light and dark, causing a mystery until you see the athlete who jumps the platform. The project was part of the discipline of Structural Systems IV, in which we develop and learn the calculation and dimensioning of timber structures.
