The designs of traditional Indian Tattoos are reinterpreted by Sara Ferrari in Veda and Enna rugs. Manufactured in pure wool, where the craftsmanship is highlighted by the precision of the exclusively hand-carved details.
In 2009 Sara Ferrari founded Sara Ferrari Design in London. After her return to Italy in 2011, she was awarded with a special mention from the YOUNG&DESIGN award: it’s the first of many recognitions that push her to travel again and exhibit in prestigious institutions including the Triennale Museum in Milan, The Others fair in Turin, The Somerset House and the ICA in London and The Peel Gallery in Texas. After a period in Nederlands dedicated to teaching, she is currently living between Milan and The Netherlands.
