Meet the characters 1

Well hello there Inkettes and welcome to the very first addition of The Inkyzine!!!

My name is Carrie and I am one of the Inkettes. I have loved Inky stamps for many years and became an Inkette 2 years ago. Nicole (Inky Mama) wondered how we could spread the Inky love and so I decided to put together a magazine where we could introduce you to some of the fun characters that Inky offers and maybe show you some Inkettes along the way!!

Now Inky Impressions doesn’t only sell stamps they sell a lot more.. There are character stamps, sentiments, flowers, ribbons.. Well embellishments galore

So come and meet some of the Inkettes ‌.

Hello everyone, my name is Nicole. I am the owner of Inky Impressions Rubber Stamps. I have been scrapbooking & rubber stamping for many years. When I first started out, I mainly did scrapbooking using stickers & dies. (Yah, I know… LOL) Then I started using stamps in my scrapbooks. From there I completely fell in love with stamping!!! I LOVE children, so I always leaned towards the buying the stick figure stamps and anything children related. When I first thought about starting Inky Impressions there were no other companies offering really cute children stamps…. So, that is when I decided to go for it! I am a stay at home mommy & love every minute of it! Being a stay at home mom allows me to spend so much quality time with my family…. It is such a blessing. I am married to Bill, who is such a loving & very supportive man. When we go to our rubber stamp conventions, the women just adore him. It is just so stinkin’ funny! They always speak of how kind, entertainingly funny & enthusiastic he is. Having Inky Impressions has been such a dream come true!!! All of our main characters are named after our 4 children. Angelica is our oldest daughter, Christopher is our oldest son, Nicholas is our youngest son & MarLeigha is our youngest daughter. We call her LiLi for short, which is why one of the characters is named LiLi & one is named MarLeigha. They love the fact that our stamps are drawn and named after them. (Actually as for Christopher, not so much….LOL) He is now to the age (16, but will be 17 on June 2nd) to where he is like, “Mom, REALLY? I just laugh…. All in all, it is truly my honour to offer Inky Impressions stamps to you. As you can see in my previous dictation, I have the ultimate love and respect for my family. And I truly honour them. Actually, this brings me to my next thought….. I also truly honour and adore our loyal Inky customers. It is with your continuous commitment to our products and your constructive input to our development that helps Inky Impressions grow, and remain competitive and respected within the crafting community. INKY HUGS! Nicole

Hi, my name is Jackie I was born and raised in New Jersey, but recently relocated to Kansas. I began stamping about ten years ago when a frequent library patron and SU Demo hosted A scrapbooking class for the town to attend. I should have run in the other direction, instead I became one of the younger stampers around. I was 16 years old at the time and a junior in high school. After that scrapbooking class I began participating in swaps and going to SU parties between school and work and loved every minute of it. When I went to college my stamping went on hold, but my stamp collection continued to grow. After graduating with my Bachelors of Architecture Degree I jumped right back into stamping, only this time I had more supplies then I knew what to do with (I still do!). Getting back into the swing of things I found Inky Impressions through a friend of mine on SCS who knew the owner and had heard that she was opening up a stamp company. I of course applied the to the first design team call and unfortunately didn’t make the team, but I did make the next design team call. I was a happy stamper when I became a part of the Inky Impressions DT in December of 2009. I continued through that term and the next one leaving them in June of 2010. I had a bit of a break from Inky, but I continued to follow the company and grow my Inky stamp collection. I joined the team again May 2011, but this time I just kept continuing on as part of the team. In January of 2012 Nicole asked me to assist her as the Design Team Coordinator and Sponsor Coordinator and I have been doing both since. Being a part of Inky Impressions as a designer has always been a pleasure, but being the DT Coordinator has been even better. Yes, there is plenty to keep me busy, but I do enjoy getting to be close with each of our designers, they are truly a wonderful group of people and working closely with Nicole has been a lot of fun!
