SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY
SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY
DRIVE TOWARD A NEW VISION FOR DISTINCTION Pioneer Driven: Carroll University’s strategic plan is intended to establish Carroll University as a higher education leader in our area. Building on Carroll’s deep foundation in the liberal arts, this bold vision calls us to strengthen our distinctive programs and expand in-demand professional programs. It envisions facilities needed for tomorrow’s students and identifies additional resources needed to attract and retain world-class faculty. This new vision also calls for securing more scholarships to ensure that our students are defined by their potential, not their economic status. Carroll’s strategic plan recognizes our strong foundation and provides a clear directive for forward movement. This approach recognizes and rewards innovative thinking that is responsive to the changing climate in — and delivery of — higher education. Comprehensive and action-oriented, the plan – along with a transformative mindset – will capitalize on opportunities, partnerships and experiences that strengthen and continue to establish our role as a leader in higher education in our region.
Strategic Growth and Innovation Until 2025*, our strategic plan will focus our resources in four key areas: • Enhancing Teaching and Learning • Enriching the Carroll Experience • Building and Leveraging Partnerships • Growing Strategically These four areas of strategic focus have application for the School of Business and Technology, and serve as a directional compass for specific plans relative to the curriculum and academic program. In addition, these experiences and opportunities will distinguish a Carroll degree from others in the marketplace and provide the foundation for initiatives to fund our aspirations. *Our strategic plan has been in place since 2019.
