The staring point was a plot of land provided by the client, where the architectural project was carried out from the architectural design to the exterior design and landscaping. The house is built around the needs of the owners, a young couple with two young children and an important social life. Comfort is sought throughout the house, not only aesthetically, but also thanks to solar, light and climate control. The aim is to integrate technology in order to feel it and enjoy it with all five senses but remaining totally integrated in each space. On the ground floor is the day area to enjoy with family and friends and through a corridor you enter a different environment. The living room is well defined using the oiled walnut wood floor which creates a balanced contrast with the oiled oak wood cladding of the corridor. As for the design of the whole house, The Room Studio used a very natural and soft color palette characterized by a cream-colored sofa by Frigerio and white transparent curtains that allow natural light to pass through the French windows. To add some color, home accessories in shades of brown and blue were used such as cushions, the majestic BSB Alfombras carpet and artwork by Miquel Alzueta Gallery. The design is completed by the central tables by Molteni&C with soft curves.

In the central part of the ground floor, we find the dining room and the kitchen with quite different styles. The dining room has a fairly minimalist design and is characterized by the abundant use of wood. The sideboard, the structure of the table and that of the chairs and to complete a partition between the corridor and the room are all made of wood. The only touch of color, in this case petrol blue, is given by the upholstery of the Viccarbe dining chairs. There are no doors between the dining area and the kitchen to ensure smooth movement. The kitchen, on the other hand, has an avant-garde and modern feel but it too is characterized by walnut wood that plays with black and white. Here too the touch of color is always present in the chairs in the blue shade but this time it is a delicate pastel bluish. While through the sliding French doors you immediately access the outdoor dining area with a wonderful view of the swimming pool.

In the multi-purpose room, there is a kids’ zone where a climbing system is created by playing with the height of the ceilings, and a cinema area by the elegant design. In particular, the predominant white contrasts with the black finishes of the lighting square-shaped tables. The different shades of blue are found in the cushions, in the Gan Rugs' carpet and in the artwork from Miquel Alzueta Gallery.

The sleeping area reserved for parents includes a spacious bedroom, an office, a dressing room and a luxurious bathroom: the designers have opted not to put doors, but each room is well defined. Both the office and the bedroom follow the design of the whole house: the light tones with touches of blue and terracotta, the use of wood and the large windows overlooking the garden. The dressing room and bathroom have a darker tone provided by the gray walls. In the bathroom, in addition to a double sink, the bathroom fixtures, a shower, the designers included also a white freestanding bathtub above which Nuura's suspended lamp has been positioned as an object of décor.

On the other side of the floor, we find the children's rooms with attached bathrooms. Both have a very inviting look characterized by the use of warm colors and a rustic touch. To give a playful sense, some color wallpapers have been inserted on some walls. Particular attention is paid to the light wood bed of Mon Lit Cabane in the shape of a house where The Room Studio have put a bespoke lighting. The bathroom design is simple and minimalist. It has soft colors that give a sense of serenity.
