Laboratory of all Ukrainian
YOVA YAGER hospitality design studio has completed its new project: Residence Restaurant, a locavore restaurant in a small town of Čerkasy, with modern Ukrainian design and love for Ukrainian products. The designers builds the design based on three principles – rethinking Ukrainian authenticity, minimalism and local production. Therefore, in the restaurant not only dishes, but also furniture, lamps, paintings on the walls, vases, facing tiles and decor are made by the local crafters. Even the contrast of green, sand and concrete works as an analogy with the country and Čerkasy, an industrial city full of green parks and alleys.

Arie, the latest addition to the Goudvisch family
Studio Modijefsky was asked to design a modern ‘brown cafe’, inside a building dates to 1876, located in Amsterdam’s ‘De Pijp’ neighbourhood. These legendary Amsterdam bars were originally created by people living on the ground floor of buildings who opened up their homes to serve food and drinks in order to supplement their low incomes. They got their name from the incessant cigar and cigarette smoke that discoloured the walls. To recreate the atmosphere of these days the designers concentrated on the popular materials of the time: copper, terrazzo, tiles, fabrics, and wood. Darkened beech is used throughout, creating a strong contrast with the aged copper and red marbles of the front bar.

Showroom project
The space is designed by Zemberek Design for a well-established textile company, Ulupınar Tekstil. The showroom areas are designed to host fashion designers of retail brands. Therefore, one of the important design criteria was, to procure the feeling of "serenity" inside in every phase of the visitor experience, in contrast to the dense city pattern that the building appertains outside. Throughout the building, it was intended to establish a pleasant circulation scenario for the visitors through the curvilinear walls that do not dictate its route but direct it with its natural flow.

Ferrari inaugurates the new Flagship Store in Maranello
Directly adjacent to the factory, a new shopping experience and a new design concept embody the values of innovation, style and performance in a contemporary reinterpretation of the excellence and heritage of the brand, through a multi-dimensional and multisensorial space imbued with the authentic Italian spirit of the Cavallino. Innovation, style and performance are the starting and finishing lines of the new store concept designed by Architects Sybarite of London, which together with the Maranello team has shaped a new identity concept with a strong visual and emotional imprint, guided by the constant interplay between technique and tradition, product and evocation, elegance and boldness. At the heart of the new concept is the idea of reinforcing the aesthetic refinement and advanced performance of the Ferrari world in a seamless flow of energy, movement and circularity that invites visitors to continually explore every detail and dimension, following a trajectory of quality and excellence through the style and spirit of the Cavallino.
Along the front façade, a terracotta colonnade outlines and frames the outer perimeter of the building, echoing the traditional colour of the roofs of Modenese houses and the historic domes in Italian architecture. Behind this, a curved glass wall in graduated shades of red shields allows a glimpse of the interior, recalling the sinuous trajectory of F1 circuits and the perpetual motion of cars on the track. At the rear of the boutique, the white clay brick walls are designed as a powerful backdrop for the garments and accessories of the new collections - an original metaphor for the modelling of Ferrari prototypes using a process that involves creating the initial form in clay and then in metal.

MAD Bars House in the historical center of Lviv
Designed by YOD Group, MAD Bars House is a six-storey venue with a unique concept that is reflected in its interior. It gathered 5 bars and restaurants under one roof. The interior of MAD evinces respect for local culture and craft traditions. The designers left some brick walls partly uncovered to highlight the value of the XVII century building. The designers manifested the idea of increasing the degree of alcohol with every floor by the design of the staircase. Every landing of the stairs has a mosaic pixel art that shows what alcohol percentage is inherent to a particular floor.
On the second floor, you can see custom-made glass lamps, vintage Bauhaus chairs, and high shelves with wine bottles from all over the world. One of the walls there is decorated with wooden casting molds, bought from a local glassmaker's workshop
