Join Lynda.com and Trafﬁc Solutions for a morning of prizes and breakfast treats in celebration of Bike to Work Week. Hosted by Lynda.com and is open to any bike commuters. Bicycle Bob’s After-Work Pit-Stop 4 to 6pm – Bicycle Bob’s on Kellogg near Hollister. Bike commuters are invited to enjoy refreshments, prize giveaways and good company at Bicycle Bob’s in Old Town Goleta near Hollister and Kellogg Ave. Round & Round presented by the Now Hear Ensemble 7:30pm to 9pm – UCSB - Old Little Theater, College of Creative Studies. UCSB Bldg. 494 The Now Hear Ensemble, Resident Ensemble at the UCSB Dept. of Music, will present a bicyclethemed concert that puts music in motion with a collection of pieces utilizing the most basic form of transportation—the wheel. The Ensemble will present Mauricio Kagel’s “Eine Brise” for 111 cyclists on the bike paths outside of the Old Little Theater at 7:30pm, before the concert. Saturday, May 16th Tour de Tent: 9am to May 17th at 3pm Santa Barbara (Bici Centro) to Ojai (Earthtrine Farm) A 2-day bike tour that will span parts of both Santa Barbara and Ventura counties, including a night of camping at a farm in Ojai. Registration is FULL. Only registered participants may join the ride and camp-out. Tour de Farms (Ellwood Canyon Gardens) 10am to 1pm – Goleta Beach This ride will start and end at Goleta Beach Park, taking the bike path through the UCSB

campus, then traveling through neighborhoods and crossing over Highway 101 at the bridge at Winchester Canyon. From here the route will continue down to Ellwood Canyon Farms, where visitors will tour the small organic farm and have an opportunity to shop at the farm stand. Kids Cycling Safety Extravaganza 10am to 2pm – Bicycle Bob’s Children will learn how to properly fit their helmet and check their bike over to ensure a safe ride. As they rotate through four stations, participants will be taught controlled starts and stops, as well as how to scan traffic, signal turns and abide by traffic laws. Mountain2Mountain Benefit 5 to 8:30pm – SOhO Restaurant & Music Venue Don’t miss the Santa Barbara Middle School Mountain2Mountain Benefit with music by local musicians and inspirational speakers. The keynote speaker is Shannon Galpin, National Geographic 2013 Adventurer of the Year and founder of Mountain2Mountain. Thursday, May 21st Annual No-Drop Women On Wheels (WOW) Ride 5 to 7pm – Hazard’s Cyclesport. Women riders will gather on the parking lot of Hazard’s Cyclesport at 5pm. A bike in working condition and a helmet are required. All riders will need to register and sign a waiver. The group led by riders from Team B4T9 will leave at 5:30pm. The goal is to introduce group riding etiquette, safety, and to meet female riders in our community. All levels are welcome. Friday, May 22nd Spoke ‘n Word: True Stories From The Road 6:30 to 9:30pm – The Chicken House Uncensored stories from the road told by average men and women. Think the Moth Radio Hour but CycleMAYnia style. Accepting submissions! Tuesday, May 26th Get Your Bike Ready to Ride! 7 to 9pm – SBBIKE / Bici Centro This is the first clinic from a series of three (Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday): consider attending all of them. Tonight, you will learn all the important aspects of basic and responsible bike usage.
