Italy: the land and its wines From the Alps to Sicily, passing over hills and through breathtaking landscapes, the long stretches of vineyards are proof of Italy’s long-standing wine-making tradition. An age-old tradition that recounts the story of an abundant variety of grape types and an equally vast variety of wines, second to no other country in the world. There are over three-hundred different types of grapes specifically grown for wine in Italy and every region characterizes either one or several specific types of wine. And so Italy’s wines continue to represent a cornerstone in the wine-making industry consistent with its Mediterranean roots.

Caldirola and Sport
two words that are historically linked, with success stories both in the world of cycling and of soccer.
Cycling Casa Vinicola Caldirola representing “The Wines of Italy”, sponsor and official Spumante supplier to the Giro d’Italia, followed the cyclists and celebrated their victories on each leg of their tour. The bubbles trapped in an iconic 3-liter bottle of Pinot Chardonnay Brut were always ready and waiting for the arrival of the cyclists on the various legs of the Giro to spray the winner with. The Prosecco Caldirola was present in the hospitality areas to help celebrate the various milestones of the Giro.
Soccer Great expectations followed by strong results from Casa Vinicola Caldirola’s partnership with the AC Milan soccer team. As official supllier of the team, Caldirola reinforces its brand and consolidates its presence in the international marketplace. Caldirola stars on the huge billboard of the legendary San Siro Stadium, the “La Scala” of the soccer world. With LEDs on the sides of the pitch, the company’s logo visible during interviews, the advertising spot “A breath of DOCG” on the mega-screens and wine-tasting of the La Cacciatora product range in the hospitality areas, the brand and its products are omnipresent.
