HOW TO SEARCH

The search bar is located in the upper left corner of the MediaValet interface. The quickest way to locate files is to search by SKU number, product name or use a semantic search.

Browse by Category

Below the search bar you’ll find our library organized by category. Assets here are generally organized by asset type, then by Brand and Product Category.

TIPS FOR SEARCHING

Narrow results by using specific product names. E.g. “xtherm MAX” will limit results to assets only tagged with the “MAX” model.

Use Keywords. All assets are tagged with keywords to make it easy to find and identify. These might describe scenery, colors, subject matter or product features found within the asset, for example; zipper, binding, sunset, dog etc.

Use Advanced Search filters and choose from the various criteria to narrow down your search. Once you’re satisfied, hit the “Apply” button.

Use “NOT” to eliminate unwanted results. For example, to find WindBurner lifestyle images without snow in the scene, enter “windburner NOT snow”.

Download Seasonal Asset Kits. Our team has created convenient seasonal asset kits that contain each new season’s product images, videos, web copy, sell sheets and product data. These can found under Library > Marketing Collateral > Asset Kits.

Save Searches that you will use again by clicking “Save Search” button that appears below the search bar after you have completed a search.

DOWNLOAD AND SHARE ASSETS

Download or share assets in their native high-resolution format or render the files into a a different size or format such as PNG, JPG, MP4, etc.

QUICK DOWNLOAD

Quickly download any asset by selecting it and clicking the icon on it’s thumbnail. This can also be done when selecting multiple files from your search.

DOWNLOAD RENDITION(S)

Custom download options are available in the Download menu found by click “Actions” in the upper right corner. Choose from common presets formats or select “Custom asset(s)” to render files in a specific format, size or resolution to meet your needs.

Once you’ve chosen your download options, enter a name for your packaged files and hit “Download”. You’ll automatically be taken to the Download tab where you’ll be able to access a .zip for the assets once rendered.

OTHER FEATURES

VIDEO: Videos can be played back within MediaValet and compressed into various formats before download. To compress and convert videos, select “Download Rendition” and select your format from the Download menu.

CROP: Images can be re-framed and cropped in MediaValet before downloading. To do this, simply click on an mage to view it in fullsize, then click the “Crop” tab. You’ll have the option to freeform drag-and-drop your frame size or select from preset size options.

LIFESTYLE IMAGE USAGE RULES

Lifestyle image assets in our library are licensed for limited use and require photographer credit be listed when used.

Pay attention to the licenses listed in the description field (see right) and refrain from using them for anything beyond their intended use. For example, assets labeled “Digital Use Only, No Print” are not allowed for use on printed posters, banners, magazines, etc.
