Glenda Zamzow (AB) so generously shared with a few tomato varieties from an Italian gentleman neighbour, Peter Pasquini. Peter was becoming overwhelmed with his yearly vegetable garden at the age of 92. Glenda was able to rescue a few prized specimens. Since they did not have names Glenda named in Peter’s honour. Peter’s Pride is an elongated paste tomato with distinctive pointing blossom end. Fruit weight ranges from 140 - 210 grams (5 - 7.4 oz.). Excellent for sauce making as it has few seeds and quite dry flesh.
