DESCRIPTION This concept based on the values of family, history & collaboration. To support this we provided employees with various work stations, lounge & meeting spaces available to each department. This was done to encourage employees to get up & to work or meet with a fellow employee in a comfortable setting. We also incorporated super graphics of the companies history as talking points throughout the space.

DESIGN EXCELLENCE NOMINEE

DESCRIPTION

26

“Focusing on the healing & well-being of patients through a connection to nature, technology, & education.” This is the project mission statement. Technology was integrated into the clinic by placing tech pads outside of each room for the use of education & recording of patients visits. SCNM retail area was set up for three phases. Educate, explore & indulge. Education is the first stop using the tech pads, explore stations or sinks to be able to test products & make sure it works well for you and finally indulge by purchasing the products to help with patients conditions.

NORTH OF MARKET TYPE : Hospitality YEARS : Summer 2018 TOOLS : Rhino / Adobe InDesign / Adobe Illustrator

DESCRIPTION This space was a combination of retail and office space tenants with a shared coffee shop bar. We created a new identity for the building and a district for the downtown Sand Diego area. Naming the building NOMA which stands for North of Market, a street near the project. The two half circles in the logo are also used as door handles and a representation of the two parts of the building now becoming a whole with the communal gathering space down the middle.

DESCRIPTION We created custom tetris column wraps and custom concrete poured vintage Atari inspired bar for the reopening of the Downtown San Diegos Gaslamp District Coin-Op Arcade. One side of each column would have shelving in order to double as a place for customers to place their drinks while playing games. My responsibilities included taking field measurements, interacting with the client, designing and creating shop drawings for the columns and the bar and working with the contractors to oversee the progress and installation of pieces. All work was done under the supervision of Playground Agency.
