Single vision $250 and Multifocal $350
MORE than ever our eyes are exposed to harsh conditions and our vision can be compromised by glare and sunlight. Sunglasses can protect your eyes and help you see well in bright light, but there are some big differences in the type of lenses commonly found in sunglasses. The best lenses have three main features: 1. Polarisation – This is a special surface built into the lens that cuts glare and reflected light and prevents it from entering your eyes. The best sunglasses have polarised lenses, and they can be made with your prescription if you need them. Polarised lenses do not have to be expensive and they can make a huge difference to the quality of your vision on bright days. If you play golf, go fishing, or drive regularly in bright light you need these lenses. 2. Colour – Lenses in sunglasses and regular glasses can be coloured, but the specific colour and darkness matters a lot. For example, grey and brown lenses are good for different purposes. Our friendly staff can advise you about the ideal colour and tint for your needs. 3. Coatings – Great sunglass lenses have anti-reflective coatings and/or mirror coatings to help reflect light changes and unevenness in shade. Polarised lenses can be made a lot more efficient with an anti-reflective coating. At Innisfail Optical we sell and recommend products from some of the best labs in the world including Hawiian made Maui Jim and German made Rodenstock. We have an extensive range covering budget, fashion, kids, sport and specialist. We know what works for you, and we will make sure you get the best possible value and vision. The benefits at a glance: • glare-free, relaxed vision without fatigue • intense perception of contrasts and details • 99% UV protection • optimum for all outdoor activities like cycling, driving, fishing, water sports • can be tax deductible if you work outdoors
